ADMH

(Adam H) is a saxophonist, educator, and interdisciplinary artist whose work bridges performance, scholarship, and creative collaboration. He earned his B.M. in Music Education from Susquehanna University in 2024, receiving the Elizabeth G. Eyster Award in Music and the PMEA Council TTRR Continuing Education Scholarship, Stark-Fox Family Fund. He is currently pursuing a Dual Master’s in Instrumental Performance and Jazz Studies at Bowling Green State University, where he serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant through his band director position at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns School in Toledo, Ohio.

An active performer, ADMH has performed in opera pit, musical theatre, chamber, and jazz settings. He was assistant conductor for two co-production operas— one being the U.S. fully staged premiere of Ethel Smyth’s 1923 Fête Galante. He performs with the award-winning, internationally recognized The Big Su Saxophone Quartet. His chamber involvement has brought him to stages at major conferences such as the PMEA In-Service Conference Invitation and the International Saxophone Symposium. He actively performs throughout the Midwest and Northeast as a freelance musician.

In Summer 2023, ADMH traveled to Iceland to study the participation of graffiti and street art in Environmentalism, a field program under the mentorship of anthropologist Dr. John Bodinger and ecologist Dr. Ahmed Lachhab. While in the U.S., his summers are spent in Maine where he serves as Head Librarian at the New England Music Camp.

As a composer and recording artist, Hanna has released two albums, five singles, and contributed to over thirty recordings, including Dr. Eric L. Hinton’s 2023 wind band album River Winds (Mark Records). His teaching and research continue to explore the relationships between music, education, and culture.
